Your license to work

Degrees and certificates are your license to work. The conventional system does not count experience on top of academic credentials and hence no matter how smart you are at work, it will be difficult for you to apply for a promotion or new job without academic ‘qualification’. So, you have to go back to the universities and apply for a course that is relevant to your career. As the universities do not have direct interaction with the industries therefore most of the time what you learn doesn’t fit relevant at your workplace. So you have to re-learn everything as per the need of the hour to keep yourself abreast with the changing times.

Life starts at 31

I feel good moving around places and meeting with people of various cultures. I never thought of my career in advance and hence am into something that nobody plans in advance. We undertake projects of various Government and Semi-Government organizations in India which require extensive travelling throughout the country and need computers for data processing. I have 6 years and 11 months work experience out of which I have been into IT operations for a period of 4 years and 4 months. The last 10 years has taught me a lot on what life is and how to deal with practical situations. The coming years will be more challenging and I will have to concentrate on my career on top of everything else.

A few months at Bihar

We have worked for RSBY Project in 6 Blocks of Nalanda District (Rahui, Chandi, Asthawan, Noorsarai, Nagarnausa & Karaiparsurai) and 4 Blocks of Patna District (Phulwari, Ghoswari, Bakhtiyarpur & Dhaniyawan) and delivered around 65000 RSBY smart cards to the beneficiaries. We had to coordinate between the BDO and CDPO offices of each Block to complete the project successfully. People in the villages of Bihar are simpleminded and lead life happily dealing with odd circumstances. Development can happen here very fast with cooperation from the people and if properly taken care of by the authorities. People here are hardworking, straightforward and honest from heart. Proper planning can change everything and help the State proudly contribute in the progress of the country.
