Why do we work?

We work to earn a living so that we can survive. But our respective careers should also meet our personal interests so that we can enjoy what we do. Careers in the organised sector should have performance standards as well as growth plans to retain its employees. An organisation should first take care of its own employees before it can really concentrate on its customers’ needs. Proper career counselling is required to identify our strengths and weaknesses so that we can choose our careers accordingly to avoid wastage of time.
